Who We Are

We are two sisters returning to the work that first shaped us—proud to expand our roots in the community and carry on a family legacy. As the third generation of poultry processors and the fourth generation to steward our family land, this business is more than a livelihood to us—it’s part of who we are.

We learned this work in our youth, side by side, under the guidance of our father, who was born and raised in Comins, MI. Now, as we take over the processing side of the business, we do so with deep respect for the generations before us and a commitment to the generations to come.

Our reputation has been earned through unmatched attention to detail, cleanliness, and high standards. Customers often tell us they notice the difference, and many of the families we serve have trusted us for years—some for decades. That kind of loyalty means everything to us. It’s also what drives us to keep improving, listening, and growing. In fact, many of our best ideas for the future come directly from the people we serve.

But what truly sets this next chapter apart is the journey we’ve taken to get here—together.

Life has pulled us in different directions and while we are both proud of the lives we built apart, those seasons were not always easy. Through hardship, distance, and personal challenges, we each found our way back—not just to this work, but to each other. Today, we share more than a business. We share daily life again—meals, responsibilities, conversations, and a renewed understanding of one another. That reconnection has brought a sense of grounding, growth, and a joy that we don’t take for granted.

We’ve learned that strength doesn’t just come from hard work—it comes from humility, from being able to say “I’m sorry” and mean it, and from choosing to grow together rather than apart. We’ve learned to let go of always needing to be right, and instead focus on what matters: respect, trust, and showing up for each other.

We also bring different strengths to the table, and that balance is one of our greatest assets. Vanessa is deeply analytical and detail-driven, always focused on process, research, and organization. Jessyca brings a strong sense of connection and perspective—reminding us to slow down, enjoy life, and to recognize the human side of everything we do. Together, we create a business that is both precise and personal.

We believe there’s meaning in this work beyond the surface. There’s a connection between the land, the animals, and the people we serve. We approach that responsibility with care, respect, and intention—honoring the role we play in a process that feeds families and sustains communities.

This is more than taking over a business. It’s rebuilding something together.
